MEET THE COUPLE IN PARIS
From the very first meeting, I was enchanted by the energy and connection between Emily and Jean-Baptiste. Emily is a deeply creative soul with a passion for art, architecture, fashion, and history. Her vision for their wedding inspired me to embrace the Belle Époque atmosphere for their celebration. There’s something truly magical about the moment when my couple’s vision aligns with my own. The Belle Époque theme, rich in art and elegance, had been a dream of mine to photograph for some time.
Jean-Baptiste, with his French roots and American upbringing, brought an international flair to the event. Together, they wanted their wedding to celebrate not only their love but also the beauty of French history and the art de vivre.
MY PHOTOGRAPHY VISION : AN ODE TO ART & ELEGANCE
What stood out most to me was how every detail of this wedding celebrated art. Emily’s wedding gown, light and airy, mirrored the softness of the day. The florals, with their pastel hues, danced in harmony with the delicate light filtering through Le Bristol’s grand windows. Even the grand halls of the venue echoed the timeless grace of Parisian history and art.
For Emily and Jean-Baptiste, their wedding was more than just an event, it was a homage to the beauty of history, art, and, most importantly, their love. I was honored to be a part of their story, capturing a day filled with laughter, intimacy, and the eternal charm of Paris.
Pre Wedding
The Palais Royal is an intimate and private location, which I chose for E&JB’s session because it beautifully combines classic Parisian architecture, a peaceful garden, and exceptional natural light. Its timeless elegance and uniquely Parisian atmosphere create the perfect balance between urban sophistication and serene beauty. The soft light filtering through the colonnades and greenery made it an ideal setting for their pre-wedding shoot, offering both intimacy and grandeur. E&JB wanted an authentic Parisian experience, and the Palais Royal provided the perfect backdrop to capture that vision.
Wedding
As a photographer, I am drawn to texture and detail, and Le Bristol Paris provided an abundance of both. This iconic venue, with its lush gardens and luxurious interiors, served as the perfect canvas for capturing the timeless elegance of Emily and Jean-Baptiste’s wedding.
